emileeEmilee Tominovich drove in the TC class of the Pirelli World Challenge and finished 6th in the championship.  For 2015, Emilee will be driving in the TC class for Compass 360 Racing.  Here are Emilee’s answers to 5 Questions:
1. Who is your toughest competitor on the track?
I think my toughest competitor on the track is myself. I think this is a common answer among drivers because at the level we are at everyone fighting at the front is good, so it is really important to mentally keep yourself together for the entire race to avoid even the smallest mistakes.
2. Outside of motorsports, what is your favorite sport to watch?
Outside of motorsports I really enjoy watching football and soccer. I am a huge Baltimore Ravens fan!
3. In regards to racing, what is the biggest lesson you learned in 2014?
I think the most important thing I learned in 2014 is how to handle pressure. It’s silly to think that you can control everything that goes on during a race, so just put your head down and drive your race.
4. What is the coolest thing a fan has ever done for you?
I think every time a fan comes up and says they are cheering for me is pretty cool. Just knowing people support me is really special.
5. What is your favorite race track and why?
That is a tough one, I have a couple favorite tracks. I really like tracks like Road Atlanta and Watkins Glen because they are fast and have a ton of history. New Jersey Motorsports Park is also really special to me because I started my racing career there, and still get so much support from everyone there.
