Mueller: Back at it again, Plans, Intro to a New Series.
Well after about a seven week break for me from Open Wheels, to focus on the end of my sophomore year of high school, you can say that I am back for the foreseeable future. While I do understand I missed a lot of race reviews for the Indy GP, Indy 500, Detroit and Texas. F1 in Spain, Monaco and Canada. Who couldn’t forget Audi’s comeback performance this past weekend in the 24 Hours of LeMans? You ever hear of Marc Marquez?
We have a two week break until the Shell Pennzoil Grand Prix of Houston for the Verizon IndyCar Series. Formula One returns to action this weekend at the Red Bull Ring for the Austrian Grand Prix. NASCAR is in Road America and Sonoma also this weekend.
What I was thinking of doing for you guys this week (Monday-Wednesday) is give you guys a dream schedule series. Today will be Formula One, tomorrow will be IndyCar and Wednesday will be NASCAR. I thought this would give me a good baseline to get back in the swing of things and give race previews on Thursday and Friday for F1, Nationwide and Cup for this weekend. Also, this expands our coverage into NASCAR for the first time. Without further said here is what I’d like to see be done with the Formula One schedule.
The current Formula One schedule is at 19 races, my schedule that I’d like to see is at 24 races. What I tried to do is keep what we have now but bring back historic venues. The schedule would take place over four regions: Americas (N and S), Europe, Middle East and Oceania (Japan/Australia).
With these regions I’ve included a twist, for the Americas, Europe and Oceania regions there will be a specific region Grand Prix. Will explain in a second.

What do you guys think of the tracks? Now all we have to do is fit it into dates. I believe a lot of events have date equity, I’ve decided to try to stay close to that. For date purposes I am using 2015
