GP3 veteran Julien Falchero joins Belardi Auto Racing for the entirety of the 2019 Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires. The French native will be piloting the No. 4 machine for Belardi Auto Racing.
After spending the past year competing for British team Arden Racing in the GP3 series,
“I am really proud to be driving for Belardi Auto Racing, everyone on the team has welcomed me wonderfully and the first day of driving the car was great,” said Falchero. “I felt really comfortable in the car and I can’t wait to get to round one at St. Pete and to fight for the championship.”
Falchero recorded nine top 15 finishes in 14 GP3 starts last season, with a best finish of 11th at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. GP3 was not the only series Falchero spent time in, finishing fourth overall in the MRF Challenge Formula 2000 series, running two V d V events in the LMP3 class and two races in the European Le Mans competing in the LMP2 class
When Belardi Auto Racing team owner Brian Belardi had the opportunity to sign Julien he jumped on it immediately.
