For the second time this season, Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing’s Takuma Sato was victorious. In an eventful Bommarito Automotive Group 500, Sato held off Ed Carpenter Racing Owner/Driver Ed Carpenter by .0399 seconds to win in the final oval race of the 2019 NTT IndyCar Series at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway. An eventful weekend for points leader Josef Newgarden continued during the morning warmup.
In the final 30-minute practice for this afternoon’s Honda Indy 200 at the 2.258-mile Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, the 2017 race winner led the way with a best lap of 1m6.6442 (121.973 mph).

Throughout the Honda Indy Toronto weekend, Felix Rosenqvist has been among the fastest on track. In all three practice sessions and qualifying, the Chip Ganassi Racing rookie has been among the Top 3 on the charts.
However, he had yet to be the fastest in any on-track session. Early this afternoon, that all changed.
