In light of the recent COVID-19 pandemic that has altered businesses across the world, Open-Wheels Motorsports Sanctioning scaled back its efforts for fundraising towards the 2020 Open-Wheels 500. The sanctioning body has elected to move to a more focused, key group of partners in a model that the Augusta National Golf Club utilizes each spring when supporting the Masters Tournament.
