The staff at Open-Wheels.com is happy to announce that the sim racing broadcast giant RaceSpot TV has been signed to be the official broadcast partner of the Open-Wheels.com 500 Mile Race. Additional bonus coverage of Qualifications Weekend is also included in the deal.

“In a season of announcements we have had recently for the inaugural Open-Wheels.com 500 Mile Race, this is a partnership that we are remarkably proud to announce,” said Tanner Watkins, the owner and editor of Open-Wheels.com and the president of the Open-Wheels.com 500 Mile Race.

“Wil Vincent and his team have set the bar incredibly high in sim racing broadcasting, and to have RaceSpot TV as our official broadcast partner is an incredible value for not only the event’s exposure, but also for the exposure of our current partners as well as any sponsors that our competitors may bring to the race.

“I look forward to working closely with Wil and his crew to produce an exciting host of broadcasts throughout the event.”

Led by Vincent and his fellow founding partner Hugo Luis, RaceSpot TV provides the best commentary and analysis in the sport of sim racing. Their portfolio includes events such as the iRacing Indianapolis 500, the NASCAR Peak Antifreeze Series, the eNASCAR Ignite Series, the VRS GT iRacing World Championship, the Classic IndyCar Series, and the former iRacing World Championship Grand Prix Series.

“We are delighted to work with Tanner and Open-Wheels.com to provide broadcasting services for their 500-mile race this fall,” said Vincent, the co-founder and talent manager for RaceSpot TV. “Tanner is a model member of the iRacing IndyCar community, and the work he led for the 2019 iRacing Indy 500 Information Guide is one of the best things we’ve seen in a long time!

“IndyCar broadcasts are a part of our DNA. Our first ever broadcast was an IndyCar event, and we’ve broadcasted the iRacing Indy 500 in every year of our existence,” Vincent continues. “We are therefore excited to be provided the opportunity to broadcast this unique, realistic sim version of the Indy 500.

“Not only will we be covering the race, but an hour of coverage from both Pole Day (Saturday, November 9) and Bump Day (Sunday, November 10). We look forward to working with Tanner to see how we can continue to push the boundaries of sim racing Indy 500 broadcasting.”
