The inaugural Open-Wheels.com 500 Mile Race presented by Mitchell Transmissions continues to grow. Today, the website would like to announce AG Trucking as the presenting sponsor for Qualifications Weekend, to be held November 9 and 10, 2019.

“One of the most important presenting sponsorship packages left on the board recently was our Qualifications Weekend package, and it has been exciting to connect with the folks at AG Trucking on a wonderful partnership for 2019, and hopefully, beyond,” said Tanner Watkins, owner and editor of Open-Wheels.com and the president of the Open-Wheels.com 500 Mile Race.

“AG Trucking is a respected company in Indiana, and it has been a pleasure to work with Tyson Landis and Casey Stump while putting this deal together. Their contribution will help fund the drivers’ prize pool and offset any expenses associated with Qualifications Weekend – which is invaluable in our event’s first year.”

AG Trucking is a leader in the bulk transportation industry.  Since the company’s formation in 1978, AG has served many of America’s largest companies, hauling a wide variety of bulk commodities.  Their food-grade liquid division is well known throughout the industry as being exceptionally safe and reliable.

AG’s industrial dry bulk division has an equally stellar reputation of handling bulk commodities with both dump and pneumatic service.  From their corporate office in Goshen, Indiana, the company operates six terminals in the Midwest and Southeast.

“AG Trucking is a Hoosier-based company that has racing in its blood, and we are thrilled to be supporting this event,” said Casey Stump, the CEO of AG Trucking. “One of our long-time employees will be racing in this event and that is the reason why we decided to support this event.”

The driver racing under the AG banner this fall will be Tyson Landis, a veteran of the popular Lionheart IndyCar Series and a regular on the iRacing dirt sprint car scene.
