SEPTEMBER 22, 2020 – After serving as presenting sponsor for the inaugural Open-Wheels 500 Mile Race in 2019, Mitchell Transmissions will return to that role for this fall’s Open-Wheels 500 and become a primary partner for the 2020 event.

An established business in southern Indiana, Mitchell Transmissions has over three decades of experience to help service the needs of many makes and models. Their affiliated entity, Firecracker Performance, even services and builds transmissions for motorsport competition.

The 2020 Open-Wheels 500 presented by Mitchell Transmissions will go green on Sunday, November 15 with a worldwide broadcast from RaceSpot TV. Participant registration opens on Monday, September 28 with the first day of practice being held on Sunday, November 1.
