FAST FRIDAY PRACTICE RESULTS

After months of anticipation and three intense practice days, the field of 110 entries will be cut to just 33 qualifiers this weekend as Open-Wheels 500 Pit Lane Parley Qualifications get underway.

On Saturday morning, drivers will take to iRacing’s virtual Indianapolis Motor Speedway for four pressure-filled laps as they attempt to be among the 33 drivers for the second running of the sim racing event.

Six days ago, Brendan Lichtenberg  kicked off the month of November by leading Sunday’s Opening Practice. In the following practices, Marco Brasil and Ryan Schuld led the way. On Friday, Dakota Dicienzo and his Total Downforce Racing with Team Talent entry paced the final practice on Fast Friday – with a best lap of 233.052 miles per hour.

On Saturday morning, Simon Briant will be first on track, with qualifications expected to begin at 6:10 a.m. Eastern Time – live on Open-Wheels TV.

Here are the orders for the qualification groups: Group 1 | Group 2

Where to Watch

Qualifications attempts will be made live throughout the day on Open-Wheels TV (until 5:00 PM) as well as RaceSpot TV from 5:00 to 5:50 PM.

The Pit Lane Parley Pole Award winner will be crowned at the end of the day on Saturday while the rest of the field sweats their way through one more day of qualifications.

Sunday, November 8 will bring Bump Day – the final 12 hours of first-come, first-served qualifications – which will end with the field of 33 drivers being set.

The fastest 33 make the show, and again, final hour coverage of Bump Day will be shown live on RaceSpot TV (beginning at 5:00 PM ET) while the rest of day two qualifications can be found at Open-Wheels TV (6:00 AM to 5:00 PM).
