In preparation for the inaugural Open-Wheels.com 500 Mile Race presented by Mitchell Transmissions, Open-Wheels Motorsports Sanctioning will hold an open test session on Wednesday, October 16 at iRacing’s version of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The test session will be open to all drivers – whether they have already registered for the November 17 race or not. Two sessions will be scheduled in the iRacing hosted section of the site – running from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM Eastern time (6:00 PM to 4:00 AM GMT).
Open-Wheels staff will be on-hand to interview drivers and take photos of the event, which will not be streamed to the public. Trial runs of Today at the 500 segments are also scheduled before the show goes live on November 3.
